A Poem by Rev. Jeff Byrd

In the heart of silence, whispers cease to roam,

A stillness deep and vast, a sacred, boundless home.

Within this quiet realm, where thoughts are gently tamed,

I find a space eternal, where Spirit's voice is named.

Beneath the layers of the noise, beneath the world's facade,

I drift into the essence, where the soul and Spirit nod.

In the hush of inner realms, a deeper truth is found,

A clarity emerging, with peace that knows no bound.

No longer bound by time, nor shackled by the past,

In silence, I am timeless, in unity at last.

Each breath a gentle echo, each heartbeat soft and true,

In this profound stillness, the Self is born anew.

Here, purpose whispers softly, a calling clear and bright,

A path revealed in shadows, now bathed in Spirit's light.

With every silent moment, with every tranquil breath,

I merge with the eternal, and conquer fear of death.

In the sacred quiet, where unity prevails,

I touch the infinite, where divine love never fails.

Through the stillness, I am whole, connected to the All,

In the arms of silence, I heed the Spirit's call.
