Autumn’s Gentle Breath

A Reflections of Life’s Abundance

By Rev. Jeff Byrd

In autumn’s gentle breath, I see,

The dance of Life in every tree.

Each falling leaf, a whispered song,

Of letting go, where I belong.

The air is crisp, the skies are wide,

I feel Life's fullness deep inside.

In every moment, fresh and new,

Life’s allness shines in every hue.

The rivers flow, the winds embrace,

All nature moves with sacred grace.

I am a part of this grand design,

Divine expression, pure, divine.

Like Rumi’s words, my heart takes flight,

In love with Life, in love with Light.

I see the beauty, the endless worth,

Of every soul upon this earth.

For Life is rich, abundant, whole,

A constant love that fills my soul.

I fall in love, again, again,

With Life, its fullness, without end.

In joyful trust, I let it be,

The allness of Life lives through me.

And as the autumn days unfold,

I walk in love, my heart in gold.
