By Rev. Jeff Byrd

The clock whispers softly, the year turns its page,

A story now ending, a new one takes the stage.

We gather in spirit, in truth, and in grace,

To release what is heavy and find our true place.

Let us unbind the burdens, the doubts, and the fear,

They’ve served their purpose; their lessons are clear.

Like leaves in the autumn, they fall to the ground,

Nurturing the soil where new dreams are found.

In the stillness, we listen, a whisper inside,

An intention emerges, our compass, our guide.

One word takes its shape, with light it will glow,

A seed of the truth that we’re ready to grow.

Is it Love, the eternal, the highest refrain?

Or Joy, the elixir that eases all pain?

Perhaps Peace, like a river, unshaken, serene,

Or Abundance, reminding us life is a stream.

With hearts open wide and spirits unchained,

We step into the new, unscarred, unrestrained.

The past, now forgiven, its hold gently eased,

The present, our gift, where all dreams are seized.

So let us declare, as the year starts anew,

"I choose my intention, and to it I’m true.

In alignment with Spirit, I now take my stand,

Creating my life with a loving command."

As the stars light the heavens, so we light our way,

Releasing the shadows, embracing the day.

Together, we rise, in this sacred sphere,

A blessed new chapter, a radiant New Year.
